Resurrection is to give back life to the dead, which is humanly impossible. It’s a mystery; throughout the course of time mankind such as, satanic magicians, alchemists, pseudo scientist and scientist, have tried to discover the power of resurrection. Even with today’s technology, mankind has not been able, nor will they ever be able, to discover the mystery of resurrection. It’s because resurrection is going against nature, breaking the norms of life established by the almighty God, and no one but no one can break them. Mankind would give anything to reach such power. Imagine if this power at the hands of a mortal, or perhaps Satan? Satan would offer this benefit of resurrection to anyone, without considering what type of person it might be. Besides, God formed humans out of dirt and gave it spirit life and a soul. How then will they be resurrected if the soul does not return to the same body? What kind of beings would inhabit the earth? Thanks to God! That only He holds the power of life and death. Let’s read: “In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.”(Job 12:10). Further ahead it says, “The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life”(Job 33:4). There is a categorical confirmation in these verses, and that is that life is a gift, to which God is the exclusive proprietor; in Genesis 2:7 it states, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”. There are many resurrection events through out the bible, for example the  widow of Zarephath and her son that help the prophet Elijah (1 Kgs 17:21-22). Another case is when Elisha resurrected the shunammite’s son (2Kgs 4:32-35). Let’s not forget the many cases where Jesus Christ was involved: Lazarus (John 11:43-44), the widow’s son of Nain (Mat 26:51-53), the rise of Jairus’ daughter (Mat 9:23-25), the resuscitated on the day the Lord Jesus died (Mat 27:51-53). The common factor of these cases is that, they all died again because Jesus Christ, at the moment, had not defeated death through God’s power nor he had presented himself to the Father the first fruit of similar events. Making them live again, just that by itself, is something marvelous new and spectacular, and impossible for men. The resurrection is marvelous and miraculous, may it be on a mortal body or a glorified one, to which the apostle Paul says “If ye then be raised with Christ…”(Col.3:1). Paul says this hypothetical affirmation to the Colossians, implying the tremendous power of God manifested through faith in Jesus Christ, for the purpose of rising out of a dead generation. The resurrection into a new life is the same as physical resurrection, impossible without God’s power; only He can change us. The lack of this real experience causes many brothers to live a life of appearances and simulations. Evil deeds govern their life, thus living frustrated lives, full affliction and ambition, just like those who don’t know God. The apostle Paul continues saying, “seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God”(v 1). Why are you cast down brothers and sisters? Are you worried your soul by earthly things? We should place our vision on Christ. But, do you why it’s difficult? Because we are not reborn. The resurrection is a miraculous portent; it has not operated in you. You have not place your sight on the heavens but on earthly things, because it’s impossible; a true miracle, the rebirth, to be a new creature just like the apostle Paul said. That is why the he

says, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience”(v. 5-6) How is it possible to ear such things among Christians? Truly there is now doubt, this is a strange generation without God’s spirit; whose diabolical purpose is to disgrace Jesus Christ’s holy gospel and the effectiveness upon men’s lives. Let’s present to God our prayers and supplication with grand clamor and cries to obtain His help, to face the diverse temptation and test. God Bless You. Amen.
