The love of God is not for oneself, but for others; just like Jesus Christ gave is body and life for us, to grant us eternal life: “Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.  Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God”(Heb 10:5-7).  “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”(Matt 16:24).  With these examples, the followers, must die to the world and live for Him, for He has forgiven us and given us eternal life.

God has taught us, through his son Jesus Christ, that the church must love Him and not the world because Father’s love is in us.  Let’s read: “Love not the world, either the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”(1 Jn 2:15-17).  If we leave the pleasure of the flesh, eyes and vain glories, and do the will of God, forever we will remain forever.  For this, we must love God and our fellow neighbors: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that

ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Rm 12:2).  Lord, help us die to this world!  God loves you or anyone who are in deception; He wants you to be like his children, to glorify Him by giving fruits with perseverance.  If we hear His word that produces faith, the faith that pleases Him and permits us to be victorious against the world, the past is obtain; we must also maintain communication with bothers and sisters, along the celestial Father, who loves us and gives self control (2 Tm 1:7).  Maintain the unity with God’s true people, because if we,”abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”(Jn 15:70).

God nor His word changes; therefore, His church is the same since the day of Pentecost.  For this reason we must support with patience the test and tribulations, for He tells us, ” be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life”(Rev 2:10).  As a result for following the author and consumer of the faith, we’ll be, “hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”(Matt 10:22).  A signal of end times is the, “many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”(Matt 24:11-13).  To His church, He advises, ” be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own elves.”(Ja 1:22).

Those who don’t know God, love what they see in the world, such as food or vain glories.  David, who knew and loved God, tells God’s believers, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of

sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”(Ps 1:1-3).  This mercy will be given to

those who love God and keep God’s commandments and to not loving the world.

The people without God, think they are superior than others, but with maliciousness, greed, concupiscence, and covetousness in their hearths, they end up in fears; the lack of peace is the price they pay for not believing in God’s son, who tells his believers,” Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”(Jn 14:27).  Although we cannot see our God, we enjoy ourselves in His works,  because He is spirit and searches for those who are in true spirit. It’s marvelous when we hear Him, for it we are forgiven thus changing for the better, because of it we’ll follow Him and fructify good deeds.  Lord, help us to remain in path by abiding to Your word that produces victorious faith against the world.  Amen.
