There are “rules” that affect the middle class, but even more so the lower class.  We live for more than thirty years under death and destruction, especially the poor people.  This death and destruction, today, is lived by the lower class that lives in the city, in where death occurs in broad daylight, in the buses, streets, and corner stores; in addition to governmental corruption, drugs, sodomy, homosexuality and etc.  Because of this, parents and families, seek superior economy.  Some refuge themselves in religion and through education.

The intentions are good, but it would be of great blessing if they value God. Solomon tells us, “Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh.  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, “For this is man’s all”(Eccl 12:12-13).  There is no need to live afflicted, if practice with faith, the results and effects are positive.  Solomon also says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Prov 9:10).

Don’t belittle the word: “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” (Prov 22:6).  The apostle Paul reminds the young Timothy, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16-17).  The gospel warns about the increase of science, the growing cold love, and the ceasing of faith.  What’s the cause?  In the parable of the sower, it’s explained that many people hear with joy, but when the troubles/test, vanity, diversions, or love for money appears, the word is lost and no fruit is given.  To not fall in temptation, we need the scripture to have the Holy Spirit, love, power and self-control.

Thus, being able to give good news to the afflicted, making us more than winners, because for God is with us, then nothing nor nobody is against us; if we believe in His word, we will not get lost and await for the heavens.  You don’t have to travel the world preaching about the gospel, share the gospel with your family, neighbors, co-workers, or schoolmates, sharing and giving the joy and peace that Christ gives to us.  If we abide with Him, we’ll avoid to what happen to Israel, who God told them,” My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”(Hos 4:6).  The God of Israel is our God, His word does not change nor does He, but He changes us when we are called and obey Him, following his examples and testifying His power and love.

Christ says: You want to follow me? Then deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me. God says,“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” (Rev 3:19-21).  “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love” (Jn 15:8-10).  This can happen to us if we choose God’s kingdom and His justice instead of the world, to avoid indulgence of foods, drinks and clothing, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt 6:33).  And with this joy, peace and eternal live will come.  We beg You Lord, to give us of your knowledge and understanding to love and serve you, giving testimony that glorifies You. Amen.
